Monolithic Block Doubler: A frequency doubler for external use with single-frequency laser sources; for example, the MBR-110 lasers. Resonant frequency-doubling is used to achieve high-efficiency doubling, without compromising the performance of the fundamental laser source. A selected frequency-doubling crystal is positioned at the intracavity focus, providing efficient nonlinear conversion to the second harmonic.
